Join your friends and family for an unforgettable New Year's Eve Celebration!
Ring in 2025 with the annual Glass Town Countdown in the heart of downtown Lancaster!
Spend time inside local restaurants and shops, then join us at Zane Square to warm up with hot chocolate, enjoy an adult beverage in the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, and count down the final minutes of 2024. Be sure to bring a camera so you can get your photo taken with the giant glass globe before it is lit and lifted at midnight. Start 2025 off with a bang! Enjoy fireworks and all kinds of fun as we celebrate new beginnings and community with our friends and neighbors.

Winterfest & Tree Lighting Presented by Destination Downtown
Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Lancaster!
Join us for this year’s WinterFest and Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7th. Make memories and enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides, visits with Santa, family activities, a scavenger hunt, holiday music, and much more!
Holiday Parade
Join us at the Lancaster Holiday Festival Parade to walk alongside your officer or with the LPD, showcasing our community's support and celebrating the spirit of the season together!
Please meet at 9:30am at the Fairgrounds. Walk to the front of the parade as the LPD lead the way. Parade starts at 10:00am.

LPD Families Picnic
Bring the family and join us for a fun-filled family picnic, where laughter, connection, and cherished memories come together in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere!
Downtown Lancaster's Fall Festival Presented by Destination Downtown
Destination Downtown Lancaster will be hosting a Fall Festival and Downtown Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 19th from 12pm-5pm. Join us downtown for an afternoon full of fall traditions and community. We will have FREE hayrides, live music, local vendors, and much more!
Participating downtown businesses will be passing out candy to all trick-or-treaters between 12-1:30pm, or while supplies last.
